Mild and Natural IVF are a safe, successful, and holistic alternatives to Conventional IVF. It is a particularly good option for patients with low ovarian reserves, particularly women over 35, and patients who would prefer a low-medication treatment.

Mild IVF, sometimes called Mini IVF, is a softer approach to IVF that is more customized to the patient’s body. Mini IVF stimulates the follicles through a combination of minor injections and low dose oral medications.

Natural IVF is a gentle and holistic form of IVF that is easier on the body as it is a low-dosage procedure. As a perk, because it requires less medicine than Traditional IVF, Natural IVF allows patients to save money, in addition to avoiding the pain and discomfort of using medical injections.

Due to the low-dose nature of the treatment, Mild IVF and Natural IVF procedures release fewer eggs: an excellent option for patients with low ovarian reserves. However, just because fewer eggs are released, that doesn’t mean you won’t get pregnant! In fact, the embryos that are formed through Mild and Natural IVF have an increased blastocyst formation compared to Traditional IVF: think quality over quantity.

Intra-uterine Insemination (IUI) is typically the first step after being unable to get pregnant via intercourse. With an IUI, sperm are washed, concentrated, and then placed at the top of the uterus during ovulation.

During an IUI cycle, you will come in for monitoring on select days to track your ovulation. Medication to supplement IUI may be used, depending on your medical history and hormone profile. 

IUI is used most often in couples who are using donor sperm, have unexplained infertility, endometriosis-related infertility, mild male-factor infertility, cervical factor infertility, ovulatory factor infertility, or a semen allergy.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy has been used in conjunction with other conventional fertility treatments to improve egg quality, uterine lining thickness, and endometrial receptivity, primarily in the treatment of recurrent implantation failure experienced over multiple IVF cycles.

It is most often used in those who have undergone multiple IVF cycles with a history of recurrent implantation failure. PRP is usually tried before turning to donor egg IVF but may be used alongside donor egg cycles along with other supporting treatments focusing on reproductive immunology.

In Vitro Fertilization is the most common treatment that we do at Generation Next Fertility and takes place over the course of one menstrual cycle. During IVF, eggs are removed from the ovaries, fertilized with sperm, and grown in a lab for a few days. After this, the embryos are either freshly transferred into the uterus or frozen to be transferred at a later date.

Gestational Carriers carry the pregnancy and is not genetically related to the child they are carrying, meaning the embryo has the parent’s genetic material but is developing in the womb of a Gestational Carrier. This is different from Surrogacy which involves the person who is pregnant to be genetically related, most commonly used for gay men.
